(MMS) Founded in 2000, the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi Secretariat (MMS) represents the interests of the Mi'gmaq from Gespe'gewa'gi. The member communities include Gespeg, Listuguj, and Gesgapegiag. The MMS is the administrative arm of the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi (MM), providing administrative and technical advisory and consulting services for initiatives that will ultimately support the vision of the Mi'gmaq of Gespe'gewa'gi. The MMS promotes social and economic development through administrative and technical support. We are also dedicated to providing a unified voice and vision to our people. The MMS raises awareness of Mi'gmaq issues to member communities as well as external audiences. For the member communities, the MMS is mandated to provide information on current and upcoming projects.
